Business Development Specialist
At Civan we are developing and shipping high power, single mode, dynamic beam laser systems for various applications (e.g. Material processing, Metal AM, FSO). We are the first in the industry to implement CBC (coherent beam combining) and OPA (Optical Phase array) technologies in high power laser commercial products.
Our products are already installed at various customers’ sites, while several others are in evaluation stage. We are looking to expand our market reach, open new markets, expand our geographical presence and participate in global programs. For that we are looking to reinforce our Business Development team with a business development professional. The ideal candidate must be an Electrical/Optoelectronics engineer or Physicist, with Business development and/or Marketing Product management experience as well as high motivation and drive for success. He/She are expected to be Civan’s outwardly face to the market, lead strategic customer engagement, identify new markets for our products and technology, engage with potential partners and initiate funded programs with global partners. Our business development team is working closely with management to ensure we are best utilizing Civan’s potential in the market.
Open new markets best utilizing the potential of Civan’s products and technology
Create potential partnerships to enrich our offering and market exposure - Initiate partnerships with ecosystem partners e.g. Systems integrators, Scanners companies, Machine companies etc…
Establish business relations with local distributers / agents
Develop Civan strategy & presence in North America
Initiate, manage & report governmental funded projects (e.g. IIA, Horizon), locally and globally
Report to Civan’s CFO
Skills and Qualifications:
B.Sc. In relevant field
Acquaintance of Material Processing, Automotive, Aerospace markets – an advantage
Collaborative, attentive, Positive
Dedicated with high drive for success
