PROJECT MANAGER
At Civan we are developing and shipping advanced Laser systems. We are shipping products as well as developing new ones each in a different phase – definition, development, integration, production and shipping to customers. One of the driving forces behind constant business growth is the presence of professional and dedicated project managers. We’re searching for a highly-skilled project manager to contribute to Civan’s growth, work with us to grow our business and streamline our execution. The ideal candidate must be a Electrical / Optoelectronics engineering with project management experience as well as high motivation and drive for success. He/She are expected to manage multidiscipline projects through all their stages (from definition to customer support) in a highly innovative environment. In addition, our project managers are asked to present progress updates to management on a regular basis, ensuring the project business, technical, quality and budget objectives are achieved.
Objectives of this Role
Build and develop the project plan to ensure maximum performance, efficiency and execution of the project in a given time schedule and budget
Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, integration, production, quality assurance, delivery and customer support in close collaboration with R&D, Engineering, Production, QA and Marketing and Sales teams.
Run a continuous risk analysis and be proactive in risk mitigation actions
Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in full collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
Work closely with Marketing team to establish and maintain relationships with customers, providing point of contact on project status and changes
Apply learnings and share experience with other project managers. Work with PMO to synchronize cross-project dependencies
Responsibilities
End-to-End responsibility for project planning, execution, quality and delivery on schedule within a given budget
Establish and maintain processes to manage progress over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
Monitor and assign project assigned resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
Report project outcomes and/or risks to management on a regular basis —escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
Skills and Qualifications
Electrical / Optoelectronics engineer
5+ years of R&D experience
5+ years of project management experience
Experience in one or more of Material Processing/Laser systems/Communication systems/Robotics systems – an advantage
Previous success in producing multidiscipline hardware systems
Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
Collaborative, attentive, Positive
Dedicated with high drive for success
Proven success working with all levels of management
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
