MARKETING PRODUCT MANAGER

At Civan we are developing and shipping advanced Laser systems. We are shipping products as well as developing new ones each in a different phase – definition, development, integration, production and shipping to customers. One of the driving forces behind constant business growth are our leading products who are defined to best serve our customers’ needs. We’re searching for a highly-skilled Marketing Product manager to contribute to Civan’s growth, work with us to grow our business and enhance our competitiveness in the market place. The ideal candidate must be an Electrical / Optoelectronics engineer with Marketing Product management and/Or Marketing experience as well as high motivation and drive for success. He/She are expected to be Civan’s outwardly face to the market, lead customer engagement, define Civan’s future products, present an outside-in view  to management, lead competitive analysis and represent us in external events, shows and conferences. Our product managers are working closely with the management team and with our project managers to ensure we are developing and shipping the mostly competitive products to the market.


Objectives of this Role

  • Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, competitors’ products and reflect to management

  • Define a winning products roadmap and plan

  • Create product technical definition, feature list, differentiators, and requirements

  • Create business plan and marketing plan for the product

  • Lead technical discussions with customers

  • Create marketing collateral for the product

  • Engage with strategic customers and early adaptor for early design-wins

  • Represent Civan in tradeshows, conferences and webinars

  • Create potential partnerships to enrich our offering and market exposure

  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans


Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, technical requirements development, and product launch

  • Translate product strategy and market needs into detailed products’ requirements

  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI

  • Be the technical interface to customers

  • Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products

  • Create all required products’ collateral

  • Represent Civan in tradeshows, conferences, webinar and alike

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Civan’s and its features across primary market segments


Skills and Qualifications

  • Electrical / Optoelectronics engineer

  • 5+ years of R&D experience

  • Strong experience in a dynamic product management role

  • Previous experience delivering finely-tuned product marketing strategies

  • Experience in one or more of Material processing/Laser systems/Communication systems/Robotics systems  â€“ an advantage

  • Proven success working with all levels of management

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills

  • Collaborative, attentive, Positive
